Position Summary: The Accounting Manager offers a variety of services to the Accounting & Finance Group. While providing oversight to the billings, payroll, AR and AP departments, this key position is also involved in month-end closing procedures, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, process revision and development, internal control development, and other special projects. Candidates should have management experience and exhibit initiative, problem awareness, decisiveness, conscientiousness and a strong customer service attitude. While certain components of the position are fixed, candidates should be flexible and willing to take on new assignments and special projects as needed. Responsibilities are primarily accounting-natured, but often require cross-functional collaboration and teamwork. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for the development of direct reports and bring an avenue of experience in accounting, reporting, and problem-solving, as well as a good working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
